We Know the Park
Iconic spots. Perfect timing.
We've shot in Central Park hundreds of times. We know which spots are crowded when, where the light falls at golden hour, and the hidden gems most photographers miss.
Bethesda Fountain & Terrace
The most iconic spot in the park. Grand architecture, beautiful fountain, perfect for any occasion.
Bow Bridge
The romantic cast-iron bridge over the Lake. Stunning views, especially at golden hour.
The Mall & Literary Walk
Tree-lined promenade with American Elm canopy. Dramatic, symmetrical, timeless.
Gapstow Bridge
Stone bridge with Midtown skyline backdrop. NYC in one frame.
Belvedere Castle
Gothic castle with panoramic views. Fairytale vibes.
Conservatory Garden
Formal gardens, quieter than the rest of the park. European elegance.
Timing is Everything
When to shoot in Central Park.
The park looks different every hour. We'll help you pick the perfect time based on your goals, the season, and how many tourists you want in your background (ideally zero).
Sunrise (6-8am)
Empty park, magical light. Best for serious photographers willing to wake up early.
Morning (8-10am)
Still relatively quiet. Good light, joggers but few tourists.
Midday (11am-3pm)
Crowded, harsh light. We generally avoid unless overcast.
Golden Hour (1-2hrs before sunset)
The classic choice. Warm light, but popular spots get busy.
Blue Hour (just after sunset)
Dramatic, moody. Great for couples and portraits.

Common questions.
Do I need a permit to shoot in Central Park?
For small photo sessions (handheld camera, no equipment), no permit is required. We handle any permits needed for larger productions. It's included in our packages.
What if it rains?
We monitor weather closely and will reschedule if needed at no extra charge. Light overcast is actually great for photos—soft, even light with no harsh shadows.
How crowded will it be?
Depends on timing. Early morning and weekdays are quietest. We know techniques to minimize crowds even at popular spots—strategic angles, patience, and knowing when to move.
Can you help with proposals?
Absolutely! We specialize in surprise proposals. We'll scout the location, position ourselves discreetly, and capture the moment without giving anything away.
Which entrance should we meet at?
We'll coordinate based on which spots we're shooting. The park has entrances all around—we'll pick the most convenient one for your session plan.
